چکیده

Abstract Background Perilunate dislocations (PLD) and perilunate fracture (PLFD) are rare but severe injuries to the wrist, usually resulting from a high-energy trauma occurring in sports injuries, motor vehicle accidents, falls or machine related accidents. Treatment of choice is early reduction with carpal transfixation, fixation refixation injured ligaments. Aims As reports on mid- long-term outcome scarce, we aimed investigate clinical radiological open treatment after minimal follow-up 2 years. Methods Patients treated for PLD PLFD our institution were identified back 2008. Inclusion criteria who underwent surgery, had years available follow-up. Clinical examination included ROM grip strength. PRWE, quick DASH, SF-12 single assessment numeric evaluation (SANE) score used as PROMs. Dorso-palmar lateral X-rays done assessed height, inter- radio-carpal angles degenerative changes. Results Of 54 patients, 29 patients could be located contacted. By date abstract submission 15 9 been followed-up clinic. Mean was 93 months (24-170).
